Terms of Use

These terms form an agreement between you and IKA Studios ("we", "us") and apply automatically as soon as you download or use Tidy Notes. Read them before you start using the app.

1. License and Ownership

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Tidy Notes on devices you own or control, for your own use.

Tidy Notes, together with its trademarks, copyrights, database rights, and every other intellectual property right connected to it, remains the property of IKA Studios. You may not copy or modify the app or any part of it, attempt to extract or reverse engineer its source code, translate it into other languages, or produce derivative versions of it.

2. Changes to the App and Its Pricing

We want the app to stay useful and efficient, so we reserve the right to modify it or to introduce charges for its services at any time. We will never charge you for the app or a feature without first making clear what you are paying for.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

Some features are available only through a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed through the app store you purchased from, and that store's payment and refund rules apply.

• Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renewal is switched off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends, at the rate of the plan you selected
• You can manage or cancel a subscription in your store account settings after purchase
• Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription

4. Your Data and Device Security

Tidy Notes stores and processes the personal data you provide so we can deliver the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Keeping your device and your access to the app secure is your responsibility. We recommend against jailbreaking or rooting your device, which removes protections built into the operating system. Doing so can expose your device to malware and may stop Tidy Notes from working correctly or at all.

5. Third-Party Services

The app uses third-party services that operate under their own terms:

• Google Analytics for Firebase
• Firebase Crashlytics
• Sentry
• Mixpanel

6. Connectivity, Charges, and Availability

Some features require an active internet connection over Wi-Fi or mobile data. We are not responsible for reduced functionality when you have no connection or have exhausted your data allowance.

If you use the app outside a Wi-Fi area, your mobile provider's agreement still applies and you may be charged for data, including roaming charges when you use the app outside your home country with data roaming enabled. You accept responsibility for those charges. If you are not the bill payer for the device, we assume you have the bill payer's permission to use the app.

We also cannot take responsibility for how you use the app, including situations such as your device running out of battery and leaving you unable to access the service.

7. Accuracy and Liability

We work to keep the app current and correct, but some information reaches you through third parties we rely on. We accept no liability for direct or indirect loss you suffer from relying entirely on that functionality. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of your use of the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

8. Updates and Termination

Tidy Notes is currently available on iOS. System requirements may change as we update the app, or as we extend it to other platforms, and you will need to install updates to keep using it. We do not promise to keep updating the app or to keep it compatible with the version of iOS installed on your device, and you agree to accept updates when they are offered.

We may stop providing the app or terminate your use of it at any time without notice. Unless we tell you otherwise, on termination the rights and licenses granted here end, and you must stop using the app and delete it from your device.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye, and the courts of Istanbul have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Updated terms are posted on this page with a new effective date, and continued use of the app after that date means you accept them. Please review this page periodically.
