Tidy Notes is a commercial mobile application developed and operated by IKA Studios ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app collects, why we collect it, how we handle it, and what rights you have over it.

By installing or using Tidy Notes, you agree to the practices described below. Terms that are defined in our Terms of Use carry the same meaning here unless stated otherwise.

1. Information You Provide

We only collect information that you choose to give us while using the app. That information is used to deliver the features you asked for and nothing beyond that. We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not share it except where this policy says we do.

Tidy Notes can connect to services you already use so that your content moves where you want it to go:

When you enable one of these connections, the relevant provider receives the content you send through it, and their own privacy terms apply to that data. Providers acting on our behalf are permitted to process your information only for the task we assign them and for no other purpose. Connections are optional and you can disable them at any time.

3. Automatically Collected and Diagnostic Data

Like most mobile apps, Tidy Notes records technical information when something goes wrong or when we measure how features perform. This can include your device IP address, device model and name, operating system version, app configuration and version, timestamps of activity, crash traces, and aggregated usage events.

We rely on the following third-party providers for analytics, crash reporting, and diagnostics. Each has its own privacy policy:

4. How We Protect Your Data

We apply technical and organizational safeguards to your data, including encryption in transit and at rest and internal access controls that limit who can reach it. We collect the minimum amount of data needed for each purpose and handle it in line with applicable data protection law.

You also play a part in keeping your account safe. Use strong sign-in credentials, keep your device and browser access restricted, and sign out when you finish. No transmission or storage method on the internet is completely secure, so while we work hard to protect your information we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Retention and Deletion

We keep personal data only as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this policy, or longer where a law, regulation, or legal obligation requires it. Once the applicable retention period ends, the data is deleted or securely destroyed.

You can request deletion of your data at any time by writing to support@tidynotes.net.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The app itself does not use cookies. Some third-party libraries and SDKs bundled in the app, and any web pages the app opens, may set cookies or similar identifiers to operate and improve their services. You can accept or refuse these, though refusing may limit parts of the service.

7. Service Providers

We may engage third-party companies or individuals to operate the service on our behalf, provide service-related functions, or help us understand how the app is used. These parties can access personal information only to carry out the work we assign and are contractually bound not to disclose or reuse it.

8. Links to Other Services

Tidy Notes may link to websites or services we do not run. We do not control their content or privacy practices and take no responsibility for them. Please read their policies before sharing information with them.

9. Children

Tidy Notes is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If we learn that a child under 13 has given us personal information, we delete it from our systems promptly. Parents or guardians who believe this has happened should contact us at support@tidynotes.net.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may revise this policy from time to time. Updates are published on this page with a new effective date, and continued use of the app after that date means you accept the revised policy. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
